Greetings! So, after I washed the laptop lid with a soapy rag, there were streaks on it that I couldn't remove. I used regular hand soap and applied the foam to the microfiber. I think I ruined my laptop cover. These stains look like black stripes. Could I have washed off some kind of coating or something else? Is there a way to fix this?

Unfortunately, this is a common thing in today's laptops as they use inferior plastics, my Nitro 5 2021 laptop has the same funny circular stains that look like a bottle has been placed on the lid, which is very strange. The way I get rid of these stains and streaks is by just wiping it off with a dry tissue and they disappear, its a very strange phenomenon as it just appears out of nowhere, my laptop might be invaded by the hot/cold jellyfish craft alien phenomenon that the internet is going crazy about lately, I must report it to the US Army where they have had this phenomenon on one their bases and they recorded it with a thermal camera 😀aliens😕 aliens

Most non-glossy screens have anti-glare coatings sometimes rather thick that can react with detergents/cleaners, use only a damp soft cloth with a little lukewarm distilled water if spots are persistent. You have to replace the panel if the streaks are bothering you or learn to live with a minor defect, attach a large wide screen 4K external monitor would work too.

Use a dry cloth or tissue with water as the stain should wipe off, On these strange stains on the top of my Nitro 5 laptop, all I use is a dry tissue as it wipes off.

No, don't use any glass cleaners as these liquids contain either alcohol or ammonia that will react with the laptop case/lid coating, plain bottled water and a soft cloth are the best and don't rub excessively, if you removed stickers there will be some glue residue that you can try to remove with plain (unscented) baby oil and a soft cloth.
