GPU fan always at maximum speed and cannot be controlled. (Predator Helios 300)

in Predator Laptops

I have a problem with the GPU fan of my laptop I hope someone can help.

My laptop is Predator helios 300.

The GPU fan keeps working at maximum speed all the time even when I am at the BIOS page. I tried:

  • Update Bios, windows, predatorSense, drivers
  • Clean the fan

All did not solve the problem.

As you can see from the screenshot below, I manually reduced the speed to the lowest, but I couldn't control it. The CPU fan can be controlled though. The screenshot was taken when the GPU was idle.

    Hi there.

    I have a ver similar issue. In my case the fan is at maximum speed, but on Predator Sense it is shown as 0 (Zero). Detail, it doesn't always happen, but especially after waking up the Laptop after the lunch break for example.

    I put this issue on the portuguese community as well but got no answer until now.
    Maybe there is somebody able helping us both
