Hi everyone. Recently reinstalled Windows 10 and at the moment of installing the necessary drivers caught a stupor. On the website, after entering the SNID, a list of drivers appeared, but many of them are already outdated.
Explain to me step by step how to install current and VERY IMPORTANTLY only needed drivers and not to download all kinds of trash.
P.S. I ask the question here because I am not completely sure of my competence and want to hear the opinion of experts.

Nitro 5 AN515-55, originally a 2020 Windows10 system, is also fully compatible with Windows11, so Windows 10 will run 100% with the drivers and BIOS provided on Acer Support for this model. During a clean install of W10 or "Reset this PC" with internet access, all drivers will be automatically installed by Windows, don't install drivers manually and certainly not from 3rd-party sources. That "trash" that you mention is pre-installed by all PC vendors to stay in business and is required to keep the costs that consumers are willing to pay competitive.

Best OS for your Nitro 5 AN515-55 is Win-11 DON'T USE WIN-10, then make sure that ALL Windows Updates are updated to their latest updates, then install the latest NVidia Game ready drivers for your gpu and install the NVidia GeForce Experience software for gaming and driver update, then install the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant and make sure that all Intel drivers are up to date also.

After and when your Nitro 5 AN515-55 is fully up to date and is operating 100% without any crashes or BSODs blue screens update the bios to the last Version 2.06 and then update your laptops gpu Firmware to the "Update Nvidia discrete VGA VBIOS and improve performance" Version v101a, then you are all done and your Nitro 5 AN515-55 will operate to its peak and best performance.

Also, make sure that you run this laptop at min 16GB ram or and if you play games or do editing upgrade the ram to this laptop peak ram of 32GB at 2x 16GB DDR4-3200MHz CL22 and fit a top performing M.2 SSD gaming drive like the Samsung 970 NVMe M.2 Gen 3x4 as doing all the above, will make your laptop into a top-rated gaming/editing platform. Good luck and hope this helps you out further.

    1. Could you explain why I should upgrade to Windows 11, what are the main advantages and disadvantages? Or provide a source where I can learn about it.
    2. I have one problem with Intel Drivers and Support. When I last time updated the Intel graphics drivers, I got a blue screen and only reinstalling windows helped. The Intel site also said to change the OEM when installing fresh graphics drivers and that I do it at my own risk.
