My SWIFT 14 touchscreen is no longer working. F10 doesn't fix it. I checked under Device Manager, Human Devices Manager but there is no listing for HID-compliant touchscreen controller. How do I restore my touchscreen functionality?

What is your Swift 14 exact model number, and do you mean the TOUCHPAD as the Swift 14 doesn't have a TOUCHSCREEN😀also, the Swift 14 is only a new laptop and its very unlikely that the touchscreen is faulty (btw I've got a new Swift 14 SFX14-51G, so is that your laptop?) and the touchpad not working happened to me, as I turned it off at the F10 key and pressing the F10 key a few times fixed it.

Try to completely uninstall the touchpad driver in Device Manager and then reboot the laptop and let the oem drivers install after reboot, if the touchscreen doesn't install then go to your Swift 14 laptop Acer driver page and then download either the ELANTECH or the Synaptics driver and install the appropriate touchpad driver, as your touchpad should work. If doing all the above doesn't work and your laptop is under Acer warranty, take/send your laptop to Acer Tech Support so that they can fix it, if your laptop is not under warranty either send it to Acer or take your laptop to an experienced technician in your area as either your touchpad needs replacing or its cable needs replacing. Can't give you any further advice of appropriate part number as you haven't told us your exact Swift 14 laptop model? Good luck and hope this helps you put.

Thanks for your detailed response. Exact model number is N21H2 (also SF14-71T-798E, MFG Date 2023/01/31).

Touchscreen is working again. I went through “Troubleshooting” and followed various paths but not sure what got it to work again.

I’ll keep your touchpad info on file for possible future reference.

And yes, the SF14-71T models do have a touch screen, that's what the 'T' means. :)

Yes, I know the feeling, as I had the same problem with my Swift SFX14-51G laptop that has this silly Touchpad toggle key and the touchpad was turned off, so all users that have these laptops and the touchpad doesn't work, check this special Touchpad toggle key if its turned off.
