  • Hi @xloosecsrewx battery calibration may take more than 12 hours since the process consists of charging the battery to 100% and then discharging it as slowly as possible with the brightness at minimum and the Wi-Fi and BT device disconnected.

During this process it cannot be connected to the power or used.

    All the best.

For the battery calibration, in the discharge process, you can use the laptop so that it can discharge faster.

While charging the laptop back on, it is better to leave it charging for about 2-4 hours or until the battery indicator turns blue.

The download should be as slow as possible, it is not convenient to use it while downloading.

  • If your model has the option to calibrate the battery via Acer Care Center, you need to activate the option and cannot disconnect the power adapter. When the user activates this option through the care center, the battery will be charged to 100% and then the power adapter light will turn off and the battery will be discharged. If the user disconnects the power adapter, they will have to redo the entire process again.

Note that battery calibration in ACC isn't supported for systems using a USB-C charger. To calibrate there use the Windows calibration. Start with the battery fully charged and run on battery only until it shuts down due to low battery. Charge fully before turning back on. Each time you do that Windows will get a little better at estimating the battery duration.
