It's just recently that I have discovered that my Laptop has the Intel Turbo Boost Capacity. But I can't seem to know how to make it work. I've already read all the possible solution's that I could find. And I did'nt even find it in my BIOS setting. I have all the latest driver and BIOS installed. I have recently reformat it to install fresh windows 7 OS. And I honestly don't know if the turbo boost is working before I reformat it since my wife is the one using it before I come home from working overseas.  And she also doe'snt know anything about it since she's using it only for web surfing.

My MOBO's model is I5-2410m and I already confirmed in Intel's website that it does support this function.

Hope someone can help me here and thank you in advance.

Try to reinstall "Intel turbo monitor" through the Acer recovery eManagement click "Recovery" click "Reinstall drivers and programs" a new windo should open. click "content" and find the driver labeled "Intel Turbo Boost Turbo Boost Monitor"

This once worked for me :3

Ehmm just tu make sure: You do know that theres normaly nothing thats telling you that Turbo boost is activatet?

Try to download CPU Z http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/cpu-z/1.62-setup-en.exe
(Make sure NOT to install "Ask serch bar" and ohter stuff. if you see a check box and it doesn't say "This is CPU Z" the uncheck that chesk box!)

Open a program thats very CPU heavy (like video editing and export a test file)

Then start CPU Z and look under "Clocks (Core #0)" and "Core Speed"

Yeah I've already tried that but I can't continue to install it because it keeps on saying that my laptop does not have a proc w/ Intel Turbo boost capability. But I already confirmed in Intel site that my MOBO has that capability. So I did'nt really know what is happening. Thanks for the reply anyway and God bless you.
