Hello, I have an unusual issue with a new model laptop from a reputable company like Acer. The problem arises when I shut down the laptop from the Windows system, having already disabled fast boot. Even though I shut it down at 100% charge and only use it when connected to power, after three days of non-use, the battery level drops from 100% to 46%. This is extremely puzzling, considering the laptop is a recent model and isn't priced as a budget option.

I'm seeking a clear explanation, not solutions, as it suggests a potential issue with the device itself. Many users have reported similar problems from 2015 to the present, indicating two possibilities: either it's a design flaw or the shutdown command isn't prompting Windows to perform a complete shutdown, allowing it to draw power from the battery. The latter seems less probable compared to the former.

I am requesting a response from the company. Over the months, I have recommended your products to numerous people who have already purchased them. However, this issue has caused disappointment. I'm looking for an answer that summarizes what I need to know because my device is new and has only been used for six months intermittently.

Best regards,
Arth

Good news!! I've identified the issue with a USB port that I suspect might be intended for charging, similar to a power bank (though I'm uncertain if this is one of its functions) I discovered this while using a USB hub connected to it I noticed that the hub's indicator light remains constantly on, confirming that this port allows direct power draw even when the device is powered off I'm not sure if it's possible to adjust this setting from the BIOS, as I haven't researched that yet However, when I switched to the second port, the indicator light turned off when the device was powered off
