HI all, I have a predator ph315-54

The i9 11900H, 3070 8gb variant.

My issue is it is stuck on about loop, no logo appears, screen is black, I believe it to be that the bios needs to be restored to default settings as I changed a few advanced settings and is now stuck and won't load up the bios or anything.

Does anyone know hiw to access bios recovery or reset the default settings?

Ive tried extracting the bios file and putting onto usb drive and using FN + Esc but no success. Maybe I'm doing something wrong

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Vagon

    You can do 3 things:

    1. Open the laptop, disconnect the battery, locate the CMOS under the battery, take the coin battery out and shorten the +/- contacts inside the CMOS capsule with a bended paperclip, that will reset BIOS.
    2. Boot with the Windows Recovery disk (you can make one on another Windows, same version, PC) and "Reset this PC without losing files" in the Troubleshoot-Advanced menu.
    3. Bring the laptop to Acer Services in your country to reset the system to factory defaults for a small service fee.

shorting CMOS battery non success, do i need a specific file to re flash the bios, i am able to get the laptop into flashing mode using FN+Esc + Power button - the fans spin up and it stays on longer than normal, i assume the file on my USB isn't what its looking for am i doing something wrong? i use the 38mb .fd file i extract from the bios exe file on Download page

also not able to put into recovery mode for windows as nothing loads the laptop turns on then a about 5 secs later shuts off - the lights come across the keyboard as it would when you change a configuration but it just turns off and keeps looping.
