I have recently upgraded to windows 11 on my Acer Nitro AN515-43. Nitro Sense wasnt even installed on my machine ( I think its because i performed a wipe at some point) so I went to find the software on Acer.com but when I search my device I dont get the option for Windows 11 applications. I found a link to a windows 11 version but when I install it, nothing happens and I cant even find it in the applications list. It's installed because I double click on the executable again, it says its going to remove the application instead of install.

When I hit the Nitro button, nothing happens. Literally nothing. I cant get into the BIOS either to check to make sure the model name has "nitro" in it.

Any help getting Nitro Sense working would be great so that I can use this machine to play Path of Exile.

Windows 11 is not yet supported by Acer for the AN515-43 models. There are likely to be glitches until they get new drivers posted… With models they do have W11 drivers for they released new versions of Nitro Sense, so I'd expect them to do that for yours as well eventually.

Do you know if there is a reason for not releasing the drivers yet? I found a solution to my problem in the meantime. I went to the windows game mode and forced Path of Exile to be high performance and that worked but I'd like to use Nitro Sense to get more out of my PC.

My guess is they are having issues with one of the vendors who made components for that model. They are seeing problems running drivers for those parts in Windows 11 and new drivers aren't yet fixing all the bugs. I have no idea which bits are having the issues though. Other than NitroSense, obviously…

Try to install the AN515-43 NS version 3.01.3016 like this:

1st install the NS from its file Setup and wait until it finishes

2nd go into the NitroSenseV3.1 folder and click on this folder below and click on the installation file to intsll NS again, after it installs Nitro Sense should work, as that is the only way my AN515-56 NS can be installed, so try this method out and see if it works for you.

I wonder if that could have anything to do with my windows 11 PredatorSense failing. Lost keyboard lighting and all other functionality of the app. Worked on it all day and have not found a fix, although some things seem to work for a few others.

I found a version that works and have created an MSIX installer that works perfectly. The second link is the certificate which need to be installed in trusted people as shown in the screen shot. Then just double click the msix file and install.
