Is Acer Care Center working properly

There are new driver updates in the support page, but when I checked my laptop with Acer Care Center it showed my system is up to date.

Is Acer Care Center reliable?

    ACC does not run well in W11, hangs a lot and interferes with the Windows WAU updater app. I recommend you uninstall ACC as you don't need that app. Note that after uninstalling ACC in Windows Programs some ACC (update) agents keep running in Services (disable those) and Task Scheduler (delete those too) also check the Programs Files as ACC remnants may be still there (delete) ACC unfortunately does not uninstall completely.

    Don't limit battery charging, I don't know if you have followed discussions about the topic in this community but the whole idea of preserving battery life span by limiting charging to 80% (and start charging at 40%) is based on a myth, by a Canadian guy that is now widely circulated by bloatware on the internet and used in laptop software. It defeats the whole idea of a mobile device designed with maximum battery capacity and minimum charging events, battery limiting interferes also with BIOS and MS ACPI battery control protocol, someone recently reported that even after uninstalling ACC the battery charging was still blocked at 80%. 😑

    I installed ACC because it can stop charging battery when it reaches 80%.

    I also noted ACC can not be uninstalled by Windows or Revo uninstaller, it will be removed when the application is installed again.

    I had a mistake, the ACC can be uninstalled by Windows or Revo uninstaller, and I uninstalled it.
