Upgrading the CPU?

I have an Acer AX3400G and I wondering if I can upgrade the current Athlon II x2 255 to a Phenom II x4 CPU.

Is it possible?
My current setup is:
Ax3400g Motherboard in new MicroATX Case, running very stable.

Asus 7870 GHZ Edition DirectCUii 2GB GPU
4GB DDR3 Memory (standard installed)
Thermaltake 500W PSU
I understand it is not recommended I upgrade or change the system. But is there a list of CPU's that will work with this motherboard @95W, and work with the BIOS.
Thank you for your time, and thank you for reading.

    Hi!

Your Motherboard seems to have an "Socket AM3".

The compatibility list of this kind of socket is on Wikipedia.

You could upgrade to a Phenom II Dual or quad core processor but I would not exceed a 95 watt Thermal Design Power
