Hey, I bought New Acer Aspire v3-551G.

But I can't Get or Install new language for my Windows 8 Interface.

I searched the web and there is a easy way to install new languages, BUT I CAN'T on this notebook.

Made me unhappy.

I need some way to get my interface language into English, so that I can do what I want with my notebook.

Also I want to change interface language on Microsoft Office, which also happens to have language install problem.

Fix pls.

Welcome aboard, Mello. Your rig comes equipped with Windows 7, on which you can only change the language by re-installing. If you have Windows 8, go to Control Panel and Systems to make sure that you do not have the Single Language Edition. If you do, it is impossible to add language packs.

But if you really do have Windows 8 and it is not the Single Language Edition, take your pointer to the top right corner, and the Charms Bar will appear. The last item will be either Settings or Configuration, and click that. In the bottom right corner, the language setting will appear.

Yes, I took my time for research and all clues have led to tell me that this is **bleep**ty Single Language pack.

Tl;dr: Jack pot - the reason why I'm unhappy to be surprised, that I've bought something so **bleep**ty as Single language pack

Why do you install Single language pack anyways? Now I have to buy new Microsoft Office or Windows 8 change languages in either of those

And do you know how much that'll cost me,. Another one~two hundred bucks!
    Plus so much time.
Cos I bought something that wasn't cheap (as I thought) at all

Mello, I feel your pain, because the same thing happened to me here in Mexico. Be aware that you cannot upgrade the Single Language Edition, and if you install a full version of Windows 8, you will lose all your drivers. Meanwhile, the kids at the orphanage here in Mexico think that my laptop computer is wonderful, and I have learned to get along with it.
