I'm looking to buy a new non desktop PC but so far I don't see any lightweight models with network jacks, only wireless. I have owned 4 Acers and would like to stay with Acer but want my gigabit speeds. I know the thin sizes prevent a standard RJ45 jack but other mfgs have an adapter. I think I have browsed through each model listed on the web site but I don't see a model comparison page, way too many varieties to load the datasheet for each one.

Patoka, when I bought the Acer notebook that I am using right now, I checked the display model in the store to make sure it had a DSL connection. If you are thinking about buying one online, contact Acer to ask them. In reading reviews on dozens of laptops, I do not recall any review that stated whether or not it had a DSL connection.

Asus Vivobooks and Toshba Z935 series. I'm going to buy the Asus S499CA DB51T. If I were to buy an Acer I'd have to buy a USB gigabit adapter and a VGA - HDMI adapter, more cost and weight and bulk to carry.
