Aspire V3-731 Duplicate Acer programs

Hi,

I recently bought the V3-731 which I am very dissapointed with as if often will not start and I have to unplug it and take the battery out to get it to start. Not what I would expect from a new laptop.  My old Acer Aspire was a far better machine.

I have now found in my programs and features that the Acer programs are dupicated i.e. Device Fast Lane, Media, Photo, Power Management and Cloud Portal.  

Is there some reason for this or can I uninstall one of them??

    Hi AMD1939,

    So odd case, you'd better look for professional personnel to check it, and I guess this problem does not have much to do with the Acer programs you mentioned…

    HI,  the problem seems to have corrected itself.  Next time I looked at my Programs and Features there was only one of each program???  Just a computer hitch.  The only thing I did different was to install Avast Security.
