I have Acer Nitro 5 of GTX 1650, 16GB Ram & 55gb free space. I use laptop screen only. My laptop is not come with thunderbolt port.
I am getting lower fps with high end game (one game install at a time). I want a smooth gameplay specially with Forza & Valorant.
My temps are around 80 degree max. Is external gaming controller device responsible for fps reduction? Please answer. Thank you.

With your laptop (don't know which model you have, tell us the exact model number) in my opinion you haven’t got your laptop setup properly. Just as an example, I've got a Nitro 5 AN515-56 with i7-11370H – RTX-3050 4GB - 32GB RAM and what I've done is to install the latest NVidia graphics drivers (before updating always uninstall the previous Nvidia graphics driver) also install GeForce Experience and that is how I play my games with this laptop and I don’t have FPS problems, as GeForce Experience has over 100 of the major games that and if you play these games through GeForce Experience, the game settings are set to NVidia's ultimate settings that Nvidia has researched and all the settings are set to your GPUs ultimate settings for FPS and best temps. Also set Nvidia Control Panel > Program Settings > Select a program to customise (like your games) > Select the preferred graphics processor for this program > then chose your game and set this settings to High-performance NVIDIA processor.

Also have all the Windows Update to the latest updates and also have all Intel drivers up to date, as all this will make your laptop perform to its best performance. Do all that as it will improve all your games FPS and temps.

Def install GeForce Experience. i when from a 1060 to a 3060 and there is a world of difference out there

Running the old model is was getting 70-85fps. Now knocking on the door at 225fps.

Huge difference with a RTX compared to GTX.

Tine to pass the one along and go bigger. You won't regret it.Thats for sure.

30 cards are still good and getting cheaper, as the 40s are arriving.

I have Acer Niro 5 Model AN515-57 (2021). Another thing, I don't know why but I can't see my installed game inside GeForec Exp.

Not all games are in the Games Supported for the GeForce Experience:, have a look here if your game is inscluded.
