What kind of SSD is in the Predator PH317-56

My laptop has gone into a continuous loop of "automatic repair" shutdown and restart, and nothing will stop it. I assume I have to replace the SSD. It's a 561 GB PCI Express. Can I upgrade?

    The PH317-56 doesn't have a 561GB M.2 drive its got a PCIe4x4 512GB or 1TB boot drive only but has provisions for 2x PCIe4x4 M.2 SSD drives of up to 2TB.

    Note: If your PH317-56 is still under warranty, then don't do anything and send your laptop to Acer Tech Support so that they can fix your laptop.

    If your laptop is out of warranty then do a Hard Reset as this fault has nothing to do with your M.2 SSD drive, as this laptop is only a 1.5 year old Acer release laptop, and you might have a frozen IO chip that's gone into a looped repair and needs resetting by taking the main battery out, unplugging the bios battery and short its mobo +&- pins and taking the ram out for 15min and then replunging everything back and rebooting your laptop, as this will reset the IO and BIOS and should make your laptop reboot properly. Try that first and let us know how you go, as if the laptop doesn't boot and still goes into a repair loop then its got other issues that you need a technician to fix.

    Acer listed PCIe4x4 M.2 SSD drives that Acer installs into your laptop:

    • 512GB - MZVL2512HCJQ-00B07
    • 512GB - MTFDKBA512TFH-1BC15ABYY
    • 1TB - MZVL21T0HCLR-00B07
    • 1TB - MTFDKBA1T0TFH-1BC15ABYY

    @heyokayo

    Does the automatic repair show this screen?

    Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
    Thank you and have a nice day!

    @AnhEZ28 @StevenGen Thanks for your replies. The laptop is out of warranty. I don't see that automatic repair screen; instead it says 100 percent repaired and restarts on its own, over and over. StevenGen I'll copy out your reply, I'm going to have to find a technician.
