I have several chromebooks that now have a split screen. This is seperate from any accessibility options and I cannot get rid of it. I have tried to powerwash and re-enroll the chromebooks without success. They are out of warranty by 2 months. Is anyone having these issues?

I'm not sure what you are describing. Can you post a picture?

As you can see in the image where the bottom of the screen would normally be is in the upper half of the screen.

Yes, I see it now. That is almost certainly a driver issue rather than hardware, likely a driver configuration setting kept in the user profile. What happens if you login as a different user?

I have tried to login but I cannot see the full e-mail text box since it is split. When the student was logged in I did look at the accessibility settings and was not set to have a split screen.

Later in the day, I was able to get logged in. Still has a split screen on my account as well. No options in accessibility turned on.

It's not really a split screen, the screen is shifted either down or up to give that display. Try a power wash if there's no critical data saved on the system, and a reinstall of the OS if the power wash doesn't fix it.

I had already powerwashed it once, I'll try again.

Try the reinstall. If that doesn't get it fixed it's likely hardware.
