Nitro 5 AN515-43-R5RQ display issue- it flickered and displayed these horizontal lines.

I have this display issue just today after battery was drained. It wasn't charged until after a few hours. When it was fully charged, the display was already like this. Initially it flickered and displayed these horizontal lines. I then restarted it hoping it would go back to normal but unfortunately, it still displays this horizontal lines.. Laptop is about 2+ yrs old. It had a windows update last Nov. 9. Don't know if that info helps

Is there any way to fix this?
