Spin713: CP713-3W-5102 - Trouble with wireless connectivity

Purchased chromebook new in March 2022 and has worked great until roughly 2 weeks ago. Now can't seem to hold wifi signal. Places in my home that used to be strong signal are now "weak". Connection speed even when standing next to router are slow. Wifi frequently disconnects after a few minutes. Other devices: desktops, phones, other chromebooks are unaffected.

I have done the following to troubleshoot:
1) I have reset the router and checked its settings and firmware.
2) Made sure the Spin 713 is updated to the current chrome OS.
3) Have run the wireless diagnostic tool and it says laptop passes all.
4) Performed hardware reset on chromebook.
5) Performed powerwash on chromebook.

Problem still persists. Any ideas what the problem might be or recommendations to fix it?

Thanks!

My guess is one of the antennas has come disconnected from the WLAN card inside your laptop. If you are comfortable opening it up the cables connect to the MB right next to the SSD:

Verify both the cables (A in the image) are seated in their sockets.

This is exactly the problem. Black cable A is not connected to the MB. Thanks for the diagnosis!

It happens once in a while, those are really small connectors. :)
