H6815BD vs H6815ATV wanted to know if it is as good a unit.

I cannot seem to find a lot of information about the differences between these two projectors. Can somebody either point me in the right direction or give me a quick summary.
I have been recommended the BD but can only get the ATV in South Africa and wanted to know if it is as good a unit.

Yes, that's because there should be essentially no specification difference between submodels within the H6815 series. However, submodels may have cosmetic differences (eg case covers), component brand differences (eg bulb mfr) or small hardware differences (eg AC mains plugs) depending on marketing region or where manufactured or assembled.
