    yes but as updates came, the problem ocassionally came back too as I had to keep hardware acceleration off all time, also some alt-tab and resizing triggered the issue, I didn't see the MPO issue until I got casually in ths reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/yvyqc7/disabling_multiplane_overlay_mpo_fixed_all/ then I knew it was a thing for N-vidia cards too

    Unless you have a good specific reason for doing so, you should consider ignoring optional Win updates. I've found that they often apply generic device driver updates from Intel, nvidia & AMD that aren't fully compatible with the Acer proprietary mainboard in which their chips have been integrated.
