Can you please confirm why disk D is disappearing suddenly and how to take it back? Im not sure if anything inside it is deleted or just moved. I installed emulators like BlueStacks and Nox, and allowed them to make some changes, that could be the reason but not sure.

    @Jinzc this model has the 512GB SSD included. So there is no HDD

    I'm sorry to hear about the issue with your disk D disappearing. It's possible that the emulators you installed may have caused this problem. To diagnose and potentially resolve the issue, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check Disk Management: Go to Disk Management on your Windows computer to see if the D drive is recognized there. Sometimes, a drive letter may become disassociated.
    2. Scan for Viruses: Run a full antivirus scan on your computer to ensure there are no malware or viruses causing the issue.
    3. Update or Rollback Drivers: Outdated or incompatible storage drivers can lead to disk issues. Check if there are any driver updates available for your system.
    4. Check for Errors: Run a disk check utility like "chkdsk" to scan and repair any potential disk errors.

  • Press f2 before the Acer logo. Then upload a photo of the information tab, which should show all installed ssd and hdd.

    @Jinzc does it have the Disk 1? If not, check in the BIOS by turning on the laptop and quickly tapping the F2 before the Acer logo appears.

    @Jinzc

    Upon checking image 2 that you have posted, it seems that the HDD might be loose or failed. The HDD 0 is the SSD. If the HDD works correctly, it should appear in the HDD 1.

    Try to reconnect the HDD cable if you know how to disassemble the laptop or take it to a repair shop to let them diagnose it for you.

    1. just to be sure, this laptop is built in with Disk D i.e. HDD 1 ?

    2. is there other way to access disk D folder without going thru This Pc?

    3. I did not drop the laptop, the most is only hit on the charger cable and pull the laptop by few cm on table. How could HDD might be loose or failed ?

    TIA.

    @Jinzc

    The HDD should show up at Disk 1 in the disk manager.

    It might be loose from improper factory assembly or it just somehow stopped working randomly.

    @Jinzc disk D is from the HDD.

    The HDD is currently unavailable in the BIOS that you have shown in the above picture. Check the cable or you can take it to a PC repair shop to let them diagnose it.
