I have recently updated to windows 11. My computer keeps crashing and showing the blue screen when playing games. I have updated all drivers for my graphics card. I notice that my graphics card doesn't display when opening device manager, which I think is the problem. Somehow this happens when playing Assassins Creed Origins.

What is your Nitro 5 laptop model number? Only do a Clean Install of Win-11 do NOT upgrade from Win-10 to Win-11 as its best to completely format the boot drive and then install Win-11 and clean install all windows, NVidia and intel drivers.

With the newer Nitro 5 laptops like from model AN515-54 you also need to download the Intel IRST storage driver for your laptop as you need to install this driver to be able to do a complete clean install of Win-11 and then be able to format and continue the clean install of Win-11, as that is the proper way to install Win-11 onto these laptops.

Also, for gaming install the NVidia GeForce Experience software and the latest NVidia gpu driver for Win-11, as the laptop not recognizing the gpu is not good and that is a sign of a hardware problem, so check that out or do the install like I'm suggesting and see if the gpu gets installed.

Also make sure that all windows updates are done, and all Intel updates are also updated, and the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant is installed to update all the Intel drivers for your laptop. Don't install any unnecessary software and drivers, keeping the install with only appropriate drivers as that will stop your laptop from crashing and getting BSODs blue screens.

Ok. They didn't work. It seems as though a software is disabling the GPU driver while I play games causing it to crash.
