Ryzen 5 3550H can only support up to 2400Mhz of ram frequency. Check your temperature or close any unnecessary applications that could affect the performance.

It seems like you're experiencing an issue with your Acer Nitro 5 laptop where the action key (possibly referring to specific function keys or shortcuts) is not responding. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

    1. Check for Key Locks: Make sure that there are no key locks enabled on your laptop. Some laptops have a function key lock (usually labeled as "Fn Lock" or "FnLk") that can toggle the behavior of function keys. Pressing this key along with the "Fn" key can enable or disable the function keys' secondary functions. Ensure that the function key lock is not enabled.
    2. Function Key Combos: Some laptops require you to press a combination of keys to activate certain functions. For example, to adjust screen brightness, you might need to press "Fn" and the corresponding function key (e.g., "F3" or "F4"). Make sure you're using the correct key combinations for the actions you want to perform.
    3. Update Drivers: Outdated or corrupted keyboard drivers can cause problems with function keys. Visit the Acer support website and check for driver updates for your specific laptop model. Download and install any available keyboard or system software updates.
    4. BIOS/UEFI Settings: Access the BIOS/UEFI settings of your laptop (usually by pressing a specific key like F2 or Del during startup) and look for any settings related to function keys or keyboard behavior. Ensure that they are set to their default values.
    5. Operating System Settings: Check your operating system's settings related to function keys. In Windows, for example, you can go to "Settings" > "Devices" > "Keyboard" and make sure the "Use the F1-F12 keys as standard function keys" option is selected if you want the function keys to work without the need to press the "Fn" key.
    6. Software Conflicts: Certain software applications or utilities can interfere with the functioning of function keys. Try closing unnecessary background applications to see if that resolves the issue.
    7. Physical Inspection: Inspect the physical condition of the keyboard. Make sure there is no debris or physical damage that could be causing the issue. If you suspect physical damage, you may need to contact Acer for repair or replacement.
    8. External Keyboard: If possible, connect an external USB keyboard to your laptop and check if the function keys work on the external keyboard. This can help determine if the issue is specific to the laptop's built-in keyboard.
    9. Reset to Default Settings: As a last resort, you can try resetting your laptop's settings to their default values. This can often resolve software-related issues. However, be cautious, as this will reset various settings on your laptop, so back up your important data before proceeding.

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there may be a hardware problem with the keyboard or the laptop's motherboard. In such cases, it's best to contact Acer's customer support or a qualified technician for further assistance and potential repairs.
