Need help Acer nitro 5 AN515-55-53 E5 won’t turn on or charge

I got this Acer Nitro 5 not too long ago, and it was working great and everything, but I was playing a game, and the laptop just immediately shut off while It was plugged in and will not turn back on or charge. I’m just wondering if there’s anything else I can do because now it just feels like a waste of money.

    Yo bro thats the same laptop as me.

    I had the same problem just push the charger all the way in it should be two

    I know about the double tap charging, and I can assure you that the charger is in, but it doesn't explain why the laptop just shut down while at full charge.

    Im sorry bro i just brought mine 3 days ago and my screen now frozen after my brother used it i had the same problem as you and i just needed to push the plug allll the way

    No, but you aren't listening. I can 100% tell you that the charger is in place and that plugging it in is not an issue.

    Hi, I am in the same boat.

    Purchased in Feb this year and has been working fine.

    Yesterday I moved from one room to another [not unusal - do this all the time, complete with relocating Pwr adaptor and blutooth accessories] - now have no power - can confirm power adapter is completely inserted and correctly orientated [very early lesson learned], have 2 blue lights on right hand side near the 2 USB ports, but otherwise nothing. Connected to ext Monitor - nothing. When trying to boot up with power button no whiring of the fan getting up to speed [usualy and then nice and quiet after that], no keyboard back lights [which I have set to light on launch and then turn off]. Have emailed purchase company but no response as yet. Have attempted Alt + F10 + Pwr - nothing! Have crossed fingers, eyes and toes and cursed the gremlins too !

    😥If anyone can advise that would be great. Till then I'll be calling the the sales vendor, and maybe emailing Acer direct.🙄
