My Predator PHN16-71 is hanging I don't know why?

My Predator is currently installed with Windows 11, fully updated. It is hanging randomly and I have to turn it off manually via the power button to fix the issue.

    Each time you force (abort) the system to shutdown with the Power Button you create a new issue (file corruption) so refresh the system image, paste this line in the Command prompt opened at administrator and make sure internet is working:
    Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    This should end with "Completed Successfully", if DISM hangs or takes more than 1 hour to get to 50%, abort with Esc (NOT with the Power button) and restart. After that type this in the the same Command Prompt window: SFC /scannow
    This should end with "Found no integrity violations" if you see "Repaired corrupted files" rerun SFC till you see the no violations prompt.

    If your system still freezes, reset Windows11 (without losing your files option), type Reset in the Search bar. After that check the drivers in Device Manager, uninstall all drivers with yellow exclamation marks and Unknown Devices. If you see a reference in Event Viewer or Reliability History (Problem Reports) to display drivers or VGA, uninstall the display drivers in Safe Mode with DDU and reboot while internet is working, Windows 11 will reinstall the drivers.

    Hi I was searching for solutions for a while and this is what I have done.

    1. I have selected the Graphic Card for everything in Nvidia Control Panel.
    2. I changed my default display from Auto-Select to Nvidia GPU from BIOS by pressing F2 when starting the Laptop.
    3. Fully Updating the Laptop and all the Applications.
    4. Turned Off almost everything from Startup Applications.

    I hope this works for you.

    Hi Acer Support,
    I am facing the same issue, and I have tried to reset the windows and run the above command you shared, but so far, nothing works. It's daily hanging when I try to work on it, so please help me resolve it. Thanks

  • Try uninstalling Nitro Sense and then check if the crashes continue.
