Hi, i bought the Acer Nitro 5 (11th gen) from Amazon and on the specifications there it states that the maximum supported RAM Capacity is 32gb. On Acers own website i it says 64 gb ram DDR4. From googling online i learned that you can check this yourself by opening CMD and write:
wmic memphysical get maxcapacity
Which is supposed to be accurate in showing your actual max ram capacity. When i write the above prompt in CMD i get the following reply:
MaxCapacity
134217728
(which i have to divide by 1024 two times to get it to GB)
134217728 divided by 1024 = 131,072 MB.
131,072 divided by 1024 = 128 GB
I couldn't be more confused regarding how much ram I can actually upgrade my computer with. If anyone can shed some light on this cluster of confusion it would be greatly appreciated.
