Hello,

I bought an Amazon Renewed Swift 3 in early 2022. It is no longer under warranty. I'm just looking for any advice in case anyone has dealt with this issue before.

The laptop seems to have some weird fan speed profiles. On a few occasions, I have noticed the surface gets extremely hot (~50C on the surface above the keyboard), and twice now in the last week I have caught CPU temp readings like this:

Note at the far right of the temp graph, after almost 20 minutes of temps averaging around 90C, the fans finally kicked in. Unfortunately, I have noticed that the Fan RPMs do not show up in hardware monitoring software, so I can't see an exact number.

I have found similar discussion topics on this but no answers anywhere. Any advice would be appreciated.
