Acer predator po5 640 is one of the worse PC machine ever made the ram is locked to 4400hz, processor failing in every game , constant over heating it's impossible to get 60 in World of Warcraft a 15 year old game. GPU was used when i paid for it , CPU is almost dead and that is for like 8 months of work.

acer unlocked the XMP option with an update at windows update in advanced options then optional updates, it will be listed as an acer firmware update, do that and then go into the BIOS and you will get 4800 like the rest of us who have done the update, looks like you have that update also R01-B0 so just go into the BIOS and turn it on, its overheating because they don't pre install predator sense, don't ask me why, but that controls the fans and lights, GAMING mode is what you want to run them in, go to drivers and downloads over there »»»»» and then the PO5-640 PAGE and get the program, but like most of us we have upgraded our 5000 to the Noctua NH-U12A cooler, it took mine down 20C and i also upgraded the memory to crucial 4x16@4800MHz it works amazing and my pc smokes now, there are a lot of optional things you can do also to improve cooling like adding fans to the top rack as exhaust then removing the HDD caddy and giant GPU bracket to increase air flow from the front fans, i also go as far as to remove the front and side panels when gaming and i am getting 32C on CPU and 48C on GPU, mine is the PO5-640-UB11, i am in my basement with central air cranking its 62F down here so that helps also with the great temps i am getting, let me know if you need anymore help !!@!!

All DIMMs in the system have to be XMP in order to use XMP overclocking. Make sure you don't have any normal memory…
