Current system:
i7 32GB RAM
2080 Ti
8K HDMI from card to XR383CURP

I'm unable to get refresh rates at 144htz at native resolution (3840x1600). The only option is 60htz

I've updated the driver and allowed for overclocking in the display menu to no avail. I get into the Nvidia settings and can see refresh rates at 120htz at lower resolutions, but not at the displays native resolution. It's advertised to support up to 175htz on Amazon…what gives!?!? I was able to figure out the "KVM" stuff…this shouldn't be that hard!

@Ro0ster71 try to connect the PC to the monitor with a DisplayPort cable instead.

@AnhEZ28 - I swapped to the DP/DP cable provided and that was it. Knowledge is power, so why didn't the 8K HDMI/HDMI provide that kind of throughput? It's rated at some stupid fast data x-fer rate, but here we are. Thanks for the advice, now I just need to buy a DP/DP 2.1 that's long enough for my setup.

Yeah, spec calls for 144Hz native and higher when overclocked and that includes HDMI. The 2080 ti is old enough though that it's HDMI might not support the higher frequencies. You need HDMI 2.1 or later to do it.

@Ro0ster71 like billsey has stated, the 2080 TI has HDMI 2.0 and can't really support 4K@120Hz (displayed in the manual for the 2080 TI FE version). DP is often preferred for these kinds of setups.
