I purchased this PC for my son to game with. Right from the get-go, he was umm'ing and ah'ing about the fps it was spitting out. He plays (or wants to play) MW. COD, RDR2 type games in co-op mode.

So, I wish to upgrade this unit, if possible, to a beefier gaming pc. Anyway, what is the max upgrade capacity of this box?

I look forward to your thoughtful and helpful advice.

Thank you, from now.

How are you going there, good to see an Aussie on this forum like me, your desktop is a model Nitro N50-620 with its oem i5-11400 cpu and its GTX-1650 gpu, this desktop can be upgraded to the following specs and to whatever your budget will allow you to:, so here are the main components that you will need to upgrade, good luck and hope this helps you out.

    1. CPU - Upgrade to the top of the range Intel i7-11700F
    2. GPU - Upgrade to either the RTX2060 or the RTX3060Ti GPUs as they are the top graphics cards for this desktop that Acer fitted, you will need a 500W PSU for this graphics card (check your desktops PSU if its got a 300W or a 500W PSU) be aware and fit an upgraded GPU that complies to what your PSU is, don't get a lower or equal PSU always use a higher PSU for your graphics card.
    3. RAM - Max for this desktop is 64GB total (using four 16GB modules), upgrade to at least 32 GB at DDR4-3200Mhz – do the Crucial System Scan as that will give you a precise scan of the compatible ram for your desktop. IMPORTANT: When installing DIMM modules, populate the DIMM slots according to the table below:

These are the only PSUs that will connect to your motherboard and fit your case if you need to upgrade to the 500W type

Upgrade to either the RTX2060 or the RTX3060Ti GPUs

    Dear StevenGen,

You beauty! What an awesome and thorough response! Thank you so very much! I am absolutely gobsmacked! I do not know why I had not seen this comment earlier on 😥 Well over a year, and only now have I seen it. I am super embarrassed!

I will thoroughly look into your most excellent advice. I feel it will take a bit more than what I currently have available to make the upgrade I believe will satiate his power hunger. Meanwhile, he can continue with his Roblox sessions.

Again, thank you very much for your very thoughtful response 🤗

I just wanted to say that I have done a scrolling screenshot to save to my various devices to make sure that I have access to it, as long as I have access to the devices I have saved it to.
