I have an acer Nitro AN515-51. Yesterday when I was playing a game the game crashed and said that I didnt have enough memory and... wich I had even more. I never had an error like this before. When I was restarting the game I smelt something burning. I turned the laptop off and waited for 30 min and then I turned the laptop on. After 3 min laptop turned off by itself and there was smoke coming out of the back of my laptop. I didnt try to turn the laptop on again yesterday. Today when I wanted to turn the laptop on I couldn't. The laptop wouldnt have start with or even without the charger plugged in. There is a light that whenever I plugged the charger it would have turned on but this time it didnt. I have this laptop for like 2 years and I didnt clean the laptops fan even once. The laptop was getting warmer than before but I didnt knew that I should clean it before this happened. Im going to clean it tommorow wanted to know if you have any tips for turning it on after cleaning it (if there is not going to be a sirous problem inside it. Like cpu have been melted) or just for cleaning it.
Thx

ANY LAPTOP UNDER WARRANTY AND WITH YOU PROBLEMS DO WHAT “andylb” ABOVE SAYS AND DO NOT TOUCH IT!!!

As its NOT as you have had this laptop for 2 years then, try to reset the battery with the pin hole at the back and see if that resets your Nitro AN515-51 and you can turn it on? Any smoke coming out of any laptop is "NOT A GOOD SIGN OR GOOD NEWS" and it’s a sign of something that has burned and its more like and either your CPU/GPU components have burned, which is a critical sign. Try to open the back cover and inspect the components and take a photo and post it here, so that we can see the extent of the damage, good luck as the signs are NOT GOOD and/or promising but YOU COULD BE LUCKY and minimal damage was done, lets us know, good luck!!!

First let me thank you guys for trying to help. This photo is taken after I cleaned the fans. They were unable to see before cleaning. The empety space in the top right coner of the laptop is for hdd wich I removed, it was removeble.(the warranty is expired). I still couldnt turn the laptop on after the cleaning. Every thing looked fine inside. No signs of burning anywhere. But I gusse not being able to see the burning signs was normal.(still every part smelt like it was burnt.)
