What is the exact Nitro 5 model number that you have? As very few new 1.3 years Nitro 5 laptops have a PCIe Gen.3x4 256GB M.2 SSD boot drives, as a 1.3-year-old Nitro laptop should have a 512GB boot drive and if your Nitro was fitted with a 256GB PCIe Gen.3x4 M.2 SSD boot drive its probably for cost reasons and for your country only. Give more details as I've got an 1.5 years old Nitro 5 and my laptop came with a 512GB PCIe Gen.3x4 type M.2 SSD.

Also, and remember, that for this problem which is related to the M.2 SSD drive, you need to contact Acer in your country as an SSD is a consumable item that is not under warranty by Acer, its like a car and its brake pads or brake rotor, so contact them and see if they can assist you to get a warranty from Kingston who make the M.2 SSD drive.
