Afternoon

I have a G3-605 that I have put in a new case, increased the RAM to 32gb and bougt a new 800watt PSU. All is fine but now I want to upgrade the GPU from the 4gb GTX 745 it came with. I have an i7 4770 CPU.

What would be the best option Im not a real PC gamer but do watch videos on it. im just about to recieve a 4k monitor from my work. I have seen a 3gb 1060 for £50 or a 6gb 1060 for £70 which Im interested in. Should i be looking at something else?

Many thanks

I'd lean toward a 10th gen Nvidia to replace the 7th gen you have as well. So 1050, 1060, 1070, etc… They are very cost effective on the secondary market and aren't going to be overpowered for the rest of your system.

Thank you Billsey. I bought the 1060 6gb and got it for £60. While the 745 was still in I downloaded Heaven and ran a benchmark, It came back with a score of 272. Put the 1060 in, ran the benchmark and it was up to almost 3000 so Im very happy.
