Orion 7000 po7-640

Hello everyone!

Today opened the pc front glass to clean the fans and the power button stopped working because the small black button with the 4 glued connectors is broken.

I can't find this part nowhere online, I did found it for a Orion 5000. (Orion 5000 PO5-610 Power Switch Board w/ Cable 55.E0QD3.002)

Do you guys think this could work, or where I can find the right part for a Orion 7000?

One more option a found online are those external power buttons that are made to bypass the power switch that are connected via the F Panel.

The thing that I don't get is that on the Orion 7000 the F Panel is empty because the original power witch is connected through a cable in the picture above.

Will this Bypass work anyways?

The only listed Acer PO7-640 Power Switch Board is part #: 60.E2UD3.005 and is listed in the PO7-640 SG like below, so search for this part number with a reputable Acer parts retailer in your area, or enquire with Acer direct.

The PO5 and PO7 models should use the same switch, but -610 and -640 (and everything in between) is likely to be different.

Same thing happened to me. Its almost as if they designed the case to just completely rip the thing off if you attempt to remove the front panel for cleaning. And on top of that they wont send me the replacement component even though im in warranty and it the fault of bad case design. My next pc will not be through acer thats for sure. Shouldnt be paying 2 grand almost for a bad product…..
