Poor Acer support

I have owned at least 4 other Acer computer units in the last 15 years, I have NEVER had the problem I am having with this Tablet. After reading the blog I'm not the only one. This is my LAST ACER Product ever. Even sending it in to the repair center it was returned no one even looked at it. I've just returned it again. This is crazy. I see why profits are down. If and when I get my brand new tablet back I'll respond again. Good luck to the rest of you. I am so disappointed.

errr which tablet and what problem ? I have four Acer computers (two netbooks, one built in 2009 and two Windows tablets, a W510 and a W3 - one XP, one with both Win 7 and 7-64,  one Win8 and one Win 8 Pro) none have been a problem though Windows has proven quirky and Win 8 takes some tweaking to act like Win 7. All have been used to test Windows to Go both Win 8 and 8.1 preview).

Biggest issues have been with WiFi (poor range & very directional) on the W3 and adding a big external monitor kills WiFi performance. Both tabs have worked very well for "Gen 1".

Of course they should work very well for "Gen 1" devices when a company charges £350+ for them. Consumers are not guinee pigs.

I didn't know so many devices Acer sell had issues since coming on here because my W3 will not charge, like many others. Seems like a dodgy company.

In the same time, users (most of them) have bought theirs Acer for the price. Low cost, low service, low research, low manufacturing...

This financial policy is in addition to a technical non-market policy: 32Gb for W8 models, bootloader locked for Android, 8 Gb for basic models on Android... We see the results in this forum.
