I can select HDR on the monitor menu but cant turn it on in Windows 11 without the picture distorting into stripes.

Thanks Jack, I had previously reviewed that page before posting the question. The monitor doesn't have dp1.4 according to its specs, (my vid card does) but it does have HDMI 2.0 and according to the box it came in it is certified HDR. Windows doesn't seem to want to recognize its certfication though. I have also updated the ICC file. The monitor itself has an HDR toggle within its menu to apparently turn it on but it would be nice to have the ability to toggle it within applications.

update on above, the monitor’s menu has an HDR option in both “mode” and “Color” categories. When selecting HDR in the Color category, Windows then recognizes and properly displays HDR. If selected in Mode category, it doesn’t. When selecting option in either category, the monitor’s display menu reports back “HDR” mode which makes it confusing.
