Acer KA272E How do I connect external speakers to the monitor if there is no audio out port?
I recently bought an Acer KA272E monitor (picture shows the complete details). Based on research prior to buying the monitor, I am aware that the monitor has no built-in speakers but has an audio out port. Therefore, i intended to plug in an external speaker.
However, when I received the item, I realised that there is no audio out port which confused me. There are ports for HDMI and VGA but that's all.
I would appreciate some help on this matter. Thank you in advance!

There are a lot of different KA272 models. Yours should be a KA272 Ebpimiix or some other combination of letters. Can you take a better picture that shows that entire panel where the ports are?

hey, I believe that's the correct model. but usually they don't post complete information. the information/specs on other monitors are pretty much non-existent on that website. when I searched this model up on different websites, it shows audio ports on the monitor

I think there are different KA272's and its the A which has the 3.5 :( does the source device have an audio out?
Failing that yuou would need a HDMI audio extractor, something ala https://amzn.to/41FaUy1 to siphone off the audio stream

It sure looks to me like it's one of the SKUs that has internal speakers.
