Please assist The blue light on the Acer aspire E1-570 power button flashes five times and nothing happens after that.

    Your battery pack probably needs to be replaced. Unplug charger. Slide battery release button and pull battery pack out. Plug charger back in. Try to turn the machine on without the battery pack. If machine starts OK, then google search E1-570 battery for vendors who ship new replacement batteries to your location. Price should be about $25usd

    If the charging system is not working a new battery won't help. What happens is the new battery will be discharged . Lithium batteries are limited to a 30 % charge new. This is what happened to me. It will boot up with the new battery until it's drained. I haven't found a solution yet. I'm leery of spending time and money on it as it's an older 722 series. They don't work with the battery out. I'm working on testing the battery with a multimeter and a way to charge the battery out of the laptop. If you can get it to boot you might be able to access th bios and fix it. NIB.
