My new Acer Nitro 5's right speaker is acting suspicious, at the day of purchase, the speaker worked normally, the next day, it went barely audible, then when I got back home, it no longer works, I heard it has something to do with the wire or connection, I'm not sure and I'm not to keen on opening up this new laptop since it might void my warranty if I fix it myself…

At first I thought it was a software/driver issue, but it wasn't.

Also, when testing the right speaker with the Realtek Audio Console, the left speaker and the headset output crackles like crazy…

What happens when you test speakers but without the headset?

Left speaker works and crackles white noise, right speaker pops every now and then.

Right click speaker tray icon. Click open sound settings. Click Sound Control Panel in right pane. Right click speakers. Click properties. Click advanced tab. Uncheck hardware acceleration. Test again without headset.

Disable Dolby audio if installed in Sound Control Panel.
