The Nitro AN515-43 with its AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 cpu and its Nvidia GTX1650 gpu should not be dropping FPS, you need to run the latest gpu driver from Nvidia, and for gaming install the GeForce Experience software, as this software has ultimate settings for over 200 of the main games that are the most played and NVidia has gone to allot of effort to set these games to work ultimately with your GTX1650 gpu, also in the NVidia Control Panel > Program Settings set all the high end software and games to the settings of High-performance NVidia processor, then make sure that all windows updates are up to date and all AMD drivers are up to date also, as doing all this will fix your FPS problems. Also make sure that the cpu/gpu are repasted with a high end paste and all the pads are also in good condition (best is to change the pads also) and then clean the fans and vents from felt and dust. Doing all this will ensure and make your laptop perform to its best, as the AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 cpu’s are great platforms for gaming in combination with the GTX gpu.

CPU way too hot!!! This can damage the CPU if allowed to reach these temperatures too often. When was the last time the heatsink was re-pasted to the CPU & GPU chips? Re-pasting is considered normal maintenance and should be done annually for laptops that are heavily gamed.

I've actually never re-pasted the heatsink to the cpu and gpu In fact I actually don't know what a heatsink is lol but I'll bring it to acer and tell them to try and fix my laptop by re-pasting the heatsink to the cpu and gpu thanks for helping!

OK. Good luck. Let us know the results after re-pasting.
