Hi
I have a Spin 3 SP314 53N. I added a Crucial 500 GB nvme SSD. It was detected and I installed windows using USB. All went well..
But now it is not detecting the keypad. I tried going to Device Manager and update driver but no luck.

Does anyone had such issue and how to resolve it? Will cloning help and is any free software available for cloning?

Thanks

First check to make sure the touchpad isn't just disabled. The toggle is usually Fn-F7. If that doesn't do it swap back to the old drive and verify it works there. If it does then cloning should have it working on the new drive too, until whatever happened to break it happens again.

I swap to the Old drive and touchpad and keyboard both are working fine.
But when I swap to new SSD the touch pad and keyboard doesn't work. Seems like some win10 issues.
Now trying to do a clone, will update the results.

    Thanks

    Hi
I tried cloning but no luck. Got a message for windows 11 so upgraded HDD to windows 11. Then prepared usb and tried installing windows 11 on SSD. Still same problem, keyboard not working. Opened Device Manager and saw many driver missing, I think it would be the reason why keyboard is not working. can anyone please help if they have faced  similar issues

    Hi

After installing various driver from Acer website, I still have 1 left as unknown. Not sure if this is the reason why touchpad and keyboard still not working.

    Any help highly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

Did you install the Serial IO Driver?

Thanks Billsey for your valuable time.

I rolled back to windows 10. Clean up my SSD and made a fresh recovery drive. And again tried to do fresh install.
And this time all went well. Everything is working fine now.

    Thanks again
