I bought a Nitro AN515-57 one year before, the cpu (and gpu) temperatue are increased gradually, at first it was usually below 90°C while gaming , now it is constantly remained at 92°C.

I remove dust on the the fans several times before, but i have not remove the heat sink and clean it throughly as it is a bit complicated . Now should i try to replcae some thermal pasate and remove the heatsink to reduce heat? Any advices or tutroial?

Thank you for your help.

    1. Is coolboost turned on in NitroSense?
    2. Is laptop raised about an inch above a hard surface to promote better airflow taking care not to block air vents?

    I am using max all the time, and yes i do. I place things at the corner to make it have a better airflow. The temp is still high though

    @worldeater

    I would like to provide you some suggestions to reduce the temp

    Please understand the cause and solution for heating issues

    1. It might be issue with battery which might cause heating issue. You can replace the battery and check
    2. Replacing fans , heatsync and check
    3. Repasting again. It might have cleaned long time ago. You might not have cleaned it properly. Get a branded thermal paste. Clean it properly and redo the thermal pasting.
    4. getting branded cool pad from gaming store to reduce the temp
    5. Provide better airflow for laptop. Laptop raised about an inch above a hard surface to promote better airflow taking care not to block air vents
