Swift SF314-41-R1HQ Is this RAM module compatible with my model of laptop?

I have a Swift SF314-41-R1HQ laptop with an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U CPU and Radeon Vega 8 Integrated Graphics, with S/N NXHEYSP0019XXX and SNID XXXX. I was wondering if this model of RAM is compatible with the memory expansion slot of my device:

Crucial 8GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM, Model Number CT8G4SFRA32A, DIMM Unbuffered, Voltage 1.2V, CAS Latency 22, Extended timings 22-22-22.

I have read that my model is compatible with RAM of 2666mhz frequency, but this particular RAM stick is of 3200mhz, which I am unsure is compatible with the specifications of my PC.

It seems that the DIMM type specifies DDR4-2666 SDRAM, but I've also read that using RAM of higher speeds simply has the computer utilize the lower speed of the other RAM module. I am asking about this module in particular as it and another Kingston brand module of 2666 mhz are the only modules available where I live that I've found to be compatible via RAM compatibility searches on the Crucial and Kingston websites - although the model specified was merely "Acer Aspire Swift SF314-41" as opposed to "Acer Swift 3 SF-314-41-R1HQ". Either way, I've found the Crucial 3200 mhz module to be less expensive than the Kingston 2666 mhz module. So, I am asking if installing a 3200 mhz RAM module of the specifications of the aforementioned Cricual product would work, and if so, is it advisable over simply getting the Kingston module? If the maximum frequency of the motherboard is 2666, modules with higher frequency will work at maximum 2666.
If you mix modules from different manufacturers and different features, it is possible that they work below 2666.
As for the Crucial module at 3200, check with Crucial that it is compatible with your model, if it is compatible, remember that it does not work above 2666.

If you put the 3200 module in, it will likely work, but at the 2666 speed the motherboard supports. Don't buy it unless it's cheaper than the 2666 memory that is correct for your system.

I have used the Crucial upgrade finder on their website and the model I input was the "Acer Aspire Swift SF314-41", as it did not specifically have the exact model of my laptop as an option which is Acer Aspire Swift SF314-41-R1HQ. The RAM from Crucial I linked above is the only one available to me from the list of those compatible with the Acer Aspire Swift SF314-41. Is the same RAM compatible across all SF314-41 models that have an expansion slot, or is it different for the R1HQ model?

It does happen to be cheaper (than the Kingston model of 2666 mhz), but I don't want to pay for it only for it to not be supported by my motherboard at all.

Also, I have attempted to use Crucial's CrucialScan.exe tool to find compatible RAM - as far as I'm aware it directly scans the hardware, but using it takes forever and I don't know if it'll ever work.

Compatibility should include the entire model series, but please check with the manufacturer or vendor to ensure further compatibility.

I am currently checking with Crucial, although their customer service line is not being operated by humans at the moment. In the meantime, I'd like to ask a question regarding another RAM module. I have successfully scanned my PC with Crucial's Scanning Tool and it has found the maximum memory of my computer to be 20GB total and has recommended me a module of 16GB as a result, which I'll link down below. I've found this module to be available to me in online retailers. I'd like to confirm if this RAM module would also function in my model of laptop despite it being a 16GB module, which would bring the total density to around 8GB more than the maximum amount of memory listed in the service guide - 12GB (4GB onboard + 8GB in DIMM slot). If so, will there be any limitations to the amount of RAM accessible (i.e. only uses 8/16GB of the extra module) or will it be able to access the full amount of 20GB total?

Typically when Crucial offers more memory than specs call for it's because they have tested and found that the larger modules do work. You should double check again to see if the onboard memory in your system is 2666 as expected or 3200. If it's 2666 then don't pay extra for 3200 memory, since it will be running at 2666 anyway.
