Aspire A515-47 continually breaks my WiFi randomly drop again if I open a webpage

Hello,

I have an Aspire A515-47 laptop running Windows 11 that I purchased a couple of months ago. I have not changed any of the default system settings, and in fact have hardly used it much at all, because whenever I use it it completely wrecks my WiFi connection.

I have TalkTalk WiFi, which has been completely stable for four years and is still completely stable when my laptop is off. When I turn my laptop on, though, often it immediately drops the connection. To be clear, it's not just that the laptop can't connect, it completely drops the connection so none of my other devices can connect either. After a few minutes, the WiFi will come back and everything will reconnect, but as long as I am using my laptop this will just repeat over and over again, very often as frequently as every few minutes.

Sometimes it will be OK for a while, then randomly drop again if I open a webpage or try to upload or download a file, for example, but there seems to be no consistency - and I am certainly not trying to do anything that would use an excessive amount of bandwidth.

This is driving me absolutely crazy, and makes my laptop borderline unusable. I have tried a few fixes that have been suggested for similar reported issues, such as uninstalling or updating the network drivers, but nothing has any effect.

If anyone has any ideas, they would be very gratefully received!

    Check first what protocols are active in Networking WIFI, disable all except IPv4 and set that to automatic (see picture)

    Disable Network printing, sharing, proxy and VPN.

    In the Windows store disable automatic updates and disable your 3rd party AV programs.

    In Services check all apps that have Update in the name and disable those services.

    See in Task Manager how active your WIFI is when online and doing nothing (should be zero), if you still see chatter you have telemetric issues possibly by bloatware, Office/Windows store, AV programs or Windows is trying to check something online.

    First turn off some telemetrics you don't need in the Task Scheduler library and postpone Windows updates to see if that helps.

    Office has a separate task in Windows, disable all that too.

    Do you experience the same problem if you connect your laptop to the router using an ethernet cable? Also what results do you get when running a "Talktalk Speed Check"?
