    Hello!!

I understand you would like to use two monitors  with your laptop

You can always connect the monitor to laptop using vga, dvi, hdmi cable and through the help of docking station if you have multiple monitors.

Please take a picture of the ports of laptop on your smartphone, take it to a nearby store and purchase the right docking station.

You can purchase a switch splitter.   It will be helpful if you have only one hdmi port on your computer and you need to use two hdmi ports.

This model doesn't have 2 HDMI ports & so I'd like to connect 2 monitors with the laptop's USB C port to the docking station, so if you know of any recommend some docking station models particularly for this model laptop.

Based on the specifications of your Acer Aspire A514-54 laptop, it has one HDMI port, one USB Type-C port with DisplayPort functionality, and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. To connect two display monitors to your laptop, you will need a docking station that supports dual displays.

Here are a few options that you can consider:

Plugable UD-6950H: This docking station supports dual 4K HDMI displays or a combination of HDMI and DisplayPort displays. It also has six USB ports, including two USB-C ports, and supports up to 100W charging for laptops that support USB Power Delivery.

Dell D6000: This docking station supports up to three displays, including one 4K display and two Full HD displays. It has four USB 3.0 ports, two USB-C ports, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. It also supports up to 65W charging for laptops that support USB Power Delivery.

Anker PowerExpand Elite 13-in-1: This docking station supports dual 4K HDMI displays, as well as VGA and DisplayPort displays. It has thirteen ports in total, including two USB-C ports, four USB 3.0 ports, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and an SD card reader. It also supports up to 85W charging for laptops that support USB Power Delivery.

Targus Universal USB-C DV4K Docking Station: This docking station supports dual 4K HDMI displays or a combination of HDMI and DisplayPort displays. It has four USB 3.0 ports, two USB-C ports, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also supports up to 60W charging for laptops that support USB Power Delivery.

Before purchasing a docking station, make sure to check the compatibility with your laptop and the specific requirements of your display monitors.
