Acer Aspire E5-575G not detecting NVMe drive anymore after replacing keyboard

Greetings everyone, i have a seriously weird situation with my laptop Aspire E5-575G-74DG.. i bought a Kingston k2500 250gb nvme drive one year ago after i read that Aspire E5-575G models with m2 connector are compatible with NVMe with 2x PCIe lanes.. i installed it first time it wasnt detected, i updated the bios to the latest v1.47, it worked and the drive is now bootable.

I have been using it as my main drive for over a year.. today i went to replace the keyboard cause many buttons were unfunctional and i took off the hdd and the nvme drive away carefully for safety, took the laptop to replace the keyboard, and when i got back i installed the drives back and duh.. the laptop doesnt want to detect the Kingston nvme at all.. i reinstalled it to the socket multiple times.. did a hard reset.. reset bios and even reflashed the last version again.. no use! this is very weird!

i can ensure the nvme drive didnt have any physical damage cause i handle it with extreme care.. i read some questions and answers here saying that Kingston doesn't support this Aspire series.. but why would the drive run for a year and then after a random reinstall it suddenly not detected anymore! can anyone help me identify the problem please? all this happened when i have many work left to do on the nvme and all data is there and i dont have any expansion or any other laptop that has an m2 slot.

    Hello!!

    @k99rm

    It sounds like you are experiencing an issue with your NVMe drive not being detected by your Acer Aspire E5-575G laptop after replacing the keyboard. Here are some steps you can take to try and troubleshoot the issue:

    1.Check the NVMe drive connection: Ensure that the NVMe drive is properly connected to the motherboard. Sometimes, the drive may not be seated properly, which can cause detection issues. Try removing and reinstalling the drive, making sure that it is properly seated.

    2.Check the BIOS settings: Make sure that the BIOS is set up to detect the NVMe drive. In the BIOS settings, check if the NVMe drive is enabled and set as the boot device. If not, enable it and set it as the boot device.

    3.Check for driver updates: Make sure that you have the latest drivers installed for the NVMe drive. You can check the manufacturer's website for driver updates and install them if available.

    4.Check for firmware updates: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your NVMe drive. Firmware updates can sometimes resolve compatibility issues and improve drive performance.

    5.Try a different NVMe drive: If none of the above steps work, you may want to try a different NVMe drive to see if it is detected by your laptop. This will help you determine if the issue is with the NVMe drive or the laptop.

    Hello, thanks for your answer.
    Unfortunately, i have tried almost everything you mentiond, reinstalled the drive multiple times and secured it well to the socket.. the bios settings wasnt changed and i tried clearing it multiple times, i didnt try upgrading its firmware cause i dont want to lose any data inside of it, i also dont have any other m.2 drive to test

    The issue is very weird.. i removed the drive really carefully.. put it back in a few hours later after getting it from repair shop for keyboard change.. i put it back also carefully, no sign of it in bios and boot menu, could an nvme drive die just randomly from a simple careful reinstall? or could it be the Aspire E5 suddenly became incompatible with a kingston nvme drive?
