    Is there a tiny hole on the bottomside of laptop; it would be like a sim card eject hole.

    The original poster said they already tried the battery reset. I think there's something different going on though. It sounds like it's not getting through POST, is there anything plugged in to any ports?

    Hello!!!

    @DVincent

    If you have tried resetting your Acer Swift SF314-51 laptop and removing the CMOS battery, and the keyboard is still blinking when you plug in the power adapter, there may be a few other things you can try:

    1.Check the power adapter: Make sure that the power adapter you are using is the correct one for your laptop, and that it is working properly. You can test the power adapter by using a multimeter to check its voltage output, or by trying a different power adapter to see if the problem persists.

    2.Perform a power reset: Disconnect the power adapter and remove the laptop battery. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds, then release it and reconnect the power adapter (without the battery). Try turning on the laptop again.

    3.Check the RAM: Faulty RAM can sometimes cause issues with a laptop's boot process. Try removing and reseating the RAM modules in your laptop to see if this helps. Alternatively, you can try testing the RAM using a memory diagnostic tool.

    4.Check for loose connections: Open up your laptop and check for any loose connections between components (such as the keyboard, motherboard, or power button). Reconnect any loose connections and try turning on the laptop again.

    If none of the above suggestions work and you are sure your battery still has sufficient charge to start and still cannot start your laptop even with the battery disconnected and power adapter plugged (try to start without a battery) the next best thing is to bring your laptop to Acer Services to check the motherboard.
