Hi @Wolfey1122 what version have you installed? The last one available on the product page is from 2019:

    Is the version 1.28?

    How to update?
Was the update successful or was it interrupted?
Did you have the equipment connected to the feeder?

Try pressing FN+F6 to turn screen on.

As you know, it is essential that it not be interrupted and the symptoms are of an incomplete update.

The firmware update seems to have bricked the machine. It sometimes happens even if there were no interruptions. That's why firmware updates are NOT recommended unless a serious disabling or security issue is actually apparent that can't be fixed with normal drivers or other means.

Do you recall the firmware version number that was factory installed? We may be able to get back to that version .

    Hi @Wolfey1122

As your laptop model is only 1 year old and maybe still under warranty why not bring it to Acer Services to reinstall firmware and everything else, they may charge you a small service fee ($25) in my case it was free even after the warranty had expired (took 2 weeks by mail as I live in the country). Not worth all the trouble.
