My Acer Aspire E5-576G has been randomly freezing while in the middle of tasks, and resetting itself, causing me to lose what I was working on.

The freezing is random, not associated with set apps or programs.

I've factory reset my laptop, and checked for updates to various drivers and display drivers, but still it will freeze up randomly as I work on various projects.

Is it plugged in when this happens? What is CPU/GPU temperatures? Please post a screenshot of the top section of the battery report as follows

    (1) Search 'cmd' in Windows start menu.

    (2) Right click command prompt near top of menu.

    (3) Click run as administrator.

    (4) Enter 'powercfg /batteryreport' at command prompt.

    (5) Then return to the desktop. Open file explorer.

    (6) Then search for' battery-report.html' in the c:\windows\system32\ sub-folder. Double-click to open it in the browser.

    (7) Post screenshot of the first part of the report if possible that compares design full charge capacity with its remaining full charge capacity.

Same here, hav a brand new Aspire which starting freezing up about two months after purchase. Never resets in my case but ocassionally will the display will glitch with random shapes right before it hangs up. Very disappointed, and judging from the posts here and in other forums it might be a manufacturing defect, and not a random malfunction.

Keep us posted if you're offered a solution, and if it was effective or not.
